Rate every album and song, build lists, and share your taste with friends. Here's how to get help and answers to common questions.
We usually reply within 1–2 business days.
Open any album or song and tap the rating tile (or the “Rate” option in the menu). You can rate the whole album and each individual track. Your rating style — stars or a 0–100 score — is set during onboarding and can be changed in Settings.
Create a list from the Lists tab, then set its visibility to Public. Public lists appear in Discover and on your profile; private lists stay visible only to you.
No. You can browse, rate, and preview music without a subscription. With Apple Music, full-length playback and adding to your library are available too. Catalogue content is provided by Apple Music.
Go to Settings → Privacy to export a copy of your data as JSON. To remove everything, use Settings → Account → Delete Account — this permanently deletes your account and your public content from Rankd.
Tap the “…” menu on any profile, review, comment, or list and choose Report or Block. Reported content goes to our moderation team, and blocking hides that person's content from you immediately.
Ads (via Google AdMob) keep Rankd free. When first prompted you can allow or decline tracking — decline and you'll still see ads, just non-personalised ones. Change your choice any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Make sure notifications are enabled in iOS Settings → Rankd → Notifications, and that you're signed in to iCloud (Rankd's social features use iCloud). You can fine-tune which notifications you get in Settings → Notifications inside the app.
